Vehicle-specific loudspeakers, which are 100% precisely fitting and can be connected via plug & play, are becoming increasingly popular due to their simple installation. The most important purchase criterion here, however, is that the retrofit system must sound significantly better than the factory-installed speakers. With the CSVT8.2C system comes the latest Musway development, which was specially designed for the popular Volkswagen Van T5 and T6.
The original T5 / T6 loudspeakers in the doors are only 16.5 cm tall and offer little linear travel. Naturally, little bass can be generated with this. The 20 cm diameter woofers of the CSVT8.2C, on the other hand, have almost 50% more membrane area and long-throw coils, which can produce significantly richer bass. The woofers have been equipped with high-quality fiberglass membranes to ensure that playback remains clean up to the highest levels. The ABS basket is designed in such a way that the rubber funnels available as accessories can be locked perfectly. As a result, the sound in the door does not “die”, but emerges directly from the front of the loudspeakers.
The very fine resolution 28 mm tweeters with silk dome can play very deep thanks to their size and harmonize perfectly with the 8-inch speakers in the door. But they also deliver amazing linearity and brilliance up to 20,000 Hz. The tweeters can be removed from the adapter plate and are therefore compatible with the T5 and T6 van.
